Tesla Motors plans to begin deliveries of its Model X electric SUV in Q3 of this year. The Californian carmaker did not reveal when customers in the Asia Pacific region will get their hands on the electric vehicle.
Tesla says it produced 35,000 cars in 2014, helping it to generate $3.2bn in revenue. The company plans to sell 55,000 vehicles this year and hopes to boost slow sales in China by installing charging points at customers’ homes or businesses prior to them taking delivery of their cars.
